Thank you for the list! I'm leaning towards reading "My Grandmother's Hands." While I know this is an almost impossible question to answer, what are your thoughts on me reading this selection?
I'm not being dramatic when I say that it completely changed my life! I really think that it is an absolute must for everyone, but especially those of us who live in white bodies to truly understand the history and the effects it's had on the nervous system. Definitely read it! If you find that it get's too intense, take breaks. Take your time getting through it. It's definitely not a book you can just sit down and binge because there are somatic practices that he has you do along the way that are necessary for progressing through the book!
